Maureen O'Brien (writer) is an actress and author of six novels and five plays. The Cutting, when premiered at London’s Bush Theatre, won nominations for both Best Play (London Fringe Awards) and Best Newcomer (Evening Standard Drama Awards). As an actor she has worked extensively in TV, film and theatre with a variety of work in productions varying from Dr Who to The Merchant of Venice. Maureen is a founder member of the Liverpool Everyman theatre.

Peter Wright (director): recent projects include Jesus Christ Superstar at Hyde Festival Theatre, Taking Stock, a new writing piece for Manchester's 24:7 theatre festival and a revival of 7:84's One Big Blow which toured the UK. The latter was runner up as Best Production at the Buxton Fringe Festival, with one of the cast nominated for best actor. Besides work as a lecturer in drama, he is currently chairman of Hyde Festival Theatre, a 230 seat receiving house in Greater Manchester.

Hugo Chandor (Alex) has toured nationally and internationally with credits in film, TV and theatre amassed over twenty years, most recently winning Best Actor in David Mamet's Oleanna at Buxton Fringe Festival. He trained at the Actor’s Institute and is a founding director of Freerange Theatre Company.

Linzi Matthews
Linzi trained at Guildford School of Acting. Since graduating national tours have included Sharon in Outside Edge, Scout in Popcorn, Ruth in Suddenly at Home, Jane in Out of Order and most recently Linda in Blood Brothers.

West End credits include Dr Seuss the Musical (Old Vic), Anyone can Whistle (Savoy), Blood Brothers (Pheonix), Pages (Southwark Playhouse) and The Breathing Zone. Further credits include Sue in Slappers and Slapheads (Liverpool Empire and Manchester Opera House), Beauty in Beauty and the Beast, Fairy Bowbells in Dick Whittington and Princess Jasmine in Aladdin.

Television credits include Cheryl in the BAFTA winning drama Warriors and the BBC comedy Eyes Down.

Touring Schedule
