2004 Autumn At Home with the Pooters by Knight Mantell
|
| The Pooter family (as serialised in Punch magazine 1880's) invited guests to their parlour to experience a riot of classic Victorian entertainment. They roared with laughter one minute and were chilled to the bone the next. The evening boasted the classic farce Box and Cox combined with the chilling The Monkey's Paw together with music, songs and poems all delivered amongst the frightfully improper goings on in the Pooter household. This wonderful piece was lovingly created and directed by Knight Mantell, an authority on Victorian Theatre. | ![]() |
