2004 Spring
Spoonface Steinberg
by Lee Hall
 |
Both hilarious and
heartrending, this is the story of Spoonface, a seven year old autistic
girl diagnosed with cancer. It is vividly related by Spoonface herself.
We took a punt with this one, believing it to be both delightful yet
disturbing. Originally written as a play for radio and first broadcast
on BBC Radio 4 Spoonface won Lee Hall numerous awards. He is now
perhaps better known for the success of 'Billy Elliott'
