The integral part of (W)rites of Passage was the interviewing by Wren and a wonderful team of volunteers of many of the oldest
residents in the region. Personal histories and cherished memories were collected and painstakingly transcribed for the various facets of the project. Outcomes included 'Wheels of Change , a book and CD rom containing much of the work, an exhibition available to
tour regional libraries throughout South Cumbria and Lancashire, workshops for schools, and of course Tin Can Lurky the play.
Tin Can Lurky directed by Wren and was produced from three sources: the transcripts, the winning entries in our 'Playframe' competition, and the work devised expertise of our acting team.. | |
